Support

ChurchWorksMedia.com exists primarily due to the generosity of people who have donated their time and abilities—writers, composers, artists, techies, etc. However, to enable the site to continue its ministry in the future, including the provision of free hymns and psalms, we’re asking for some financial help via donations from individuals or churches.

ChurchWorksMedia.com is committed to providing hymns for corporate worship free of charge. We are honored to do so. However, we need help covering expenses and encouraging those whose labors are represented on thie site. Thus, we’re providing a way for those who believe that CWM is doing is beneficial to Christ’s body to help us. If you or your church have been blessed by CWM’s resources, please make its continued ministry possible by making a donation, whether from your personal finances or your church’s worship/choral budget. Thank you!

For what will the donations be used?

Donations will first help cover the expenses of the site, then provide some remuneration for the writers and composers (1 Corinthians 9:9-10). Finally, donations will also make other publications (choral arrangements, recordings, etc.) possible.

Can I indicate which projects I’d like to support?

Certainly. When you make a donation, there will be a space asking “Which resources have you found helpful?” Please answer this questions precisely (e.g. “My Jesus Fair and Psalm 1″), as your answer will help determine how the donation is distributed.

Does ChurchWorksMedia have other sources of revenue?

CWM receives a small amount of royalties when our resources are published as choral arrangements, recorded, or printed in hymnals. Further, we will probably sell any non-hymn resources we produce in the future (including devotional booklets, recordings, octavos, etc.) However, as the vast majority of the use of the resources is in homes, schools, and churches, the vast majority of the support will come from donations made by those same people.

Is there a recommended donation amount?

Be generous. :) Seriously, you might compare the way you use the resources with what you would pay for a comparable resource elsewhere (e.g. an octavo, a new hymn from Getty or Sovereign Grace, etc.) and donate accordingly. Of course, you are free to give a gift of any amount as you are led of the Lord.

Is making an online donation safe?

Donations and purchases via PayPal take place millions of times a day. PayPal is the industry leader in online payments.

If I’m not able to make a donation, can I still use the hymns?

Absolutely! Please don’t hesitate to do so.

Is the donation tax deductible?

Not at this time.
