Gospel Meditations on Proverbs
31 Daily Readings to Help You Be Gospel-Saturated All Day, Every Day
Proverbs, rightly understood, abounds with gospel truth. Far more than a self-help book or an anthology of good advice, the book of Proverbs is gospel-centered—detailing what it means to be born again and the wise, skillful living that inevitably results. Proverbs’ central message is that wisdom is not merely something to attain, but Someone to know. This book calls us to “get wisdom,” yet in seeking wisdom we discover that we are ultimately seeking God Himself—a treasure freely given through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
In this newest volume of the best-selling Gospel Meditations series, thirty-one daily readings highlight how the gospel is woven throughout the book of Proverbs. Learn how the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and how every facet of our lives is transformed when God is placed at the center. Let the gospel open to you the hidden treasures of divine wisdom as you come to know Jesus, repent of foolishness, walk in wisdom, and live for God’s glory.
